In January another enjoyable weekend was again had by members of the cricket club at the Hythe Imperial Hotel, once again brilliantly organised by Theresa. Friday evening was spent by us all in an Italian restaurant in the town and on Saturday, whilst the men played golf the ladies, went into the "Spar" in the hotel in an attempt to make themselves look beautiful. This year's theme was "Hollywood Glamour" and Theresa had done an excellent job of decorating the room appropriately for the Saturday night party in the hotel. Every one dressed up for the occasion, some making bigger fools of themselves than others !!! At the end of the evening "Baby David" shaved his disgusting beard off for charity (Cancer Research) and raised £45. A good time was had by all and I think we spent enough money to be welcomed back there again.
